Wreck of the Titan

"Wreck Of The Titan" is a book I long to read but I probably have to order it. It's a type of book that will probably send chills down your spine because when Morgan Robertson got this book published in 1898; all he wrote about the "Titan" was so close to the actual events of the "Titanic" in 1912. The ship he drew even looked like the titanic here are some of the similarities:
Titan: 2500 passengers drowned
Titanic: 2208 passengers died
Titan: Had 24 life boats
Titanic: Had 20 life
Titan: was 800 feet displacing 75,000 tons
Titanic: was 882 feet displacing 53,000 long tons

Now you see why I want to read the book

Animal Farm review/short summary (no spoilers)

Alright so I read this book a while back but I completly forgot to do a review/summary on it! Animal farm is about the Russian Revolution, but instead of actually letting the characters be human George Orwell made them animals on a farm. And wouldn't you guess in the end you learn power is a terrible thing if not treated right. This book was a great classic that I really enjoyed. And the thing is you can relate to the book it doesn't just have to be about the Russian Revolution it can be about how humans act in general (well in this case "animals"). It shows you that you must stay humbled in life only then will you succeed. I would love to share the best line I've ever heard in my life, but then I would spoil the book. Trust me once you read it you'll know what that line was. This was the book that made me love George Orwell! And now one of my favorite classics of all time! Point being GET THE BOOK A.S.A.P! You wont regret it..

Night World Review

Okay, so this book was recommended to me by my best friend. Honestly I loved the first story, but in the second one I sort of just drifted off. It became so boring and I decided to just put it down. I will go back to finishing it because my friend told me it'll get better. But not until I finish the books I have on my list! Overall the first story is adorable and you should look foward to that. As for the second one I have no clue what happened. I'll give it another shot but if I still feel like I'm going to fall asleep I'll have to stop reading it. The thing about "Night World" is everyone has a different take on each story. So really and truely you should give it a shot before listening to me and how I'm saying it's boring. Everyone has a different opinion on the book so I would love to here yours!

The Reckoning Review!

Sorry it has been a while since I've posted but my friend "bugged" (more like reminded; thank you) me about making another post so here it is.The Reckoning was a great book Kelly Armstrong ended the trilogy beautifully. But I will say that I still think "The Awakening" was still the best book (the second book). More towards the middle of the book is where everything started to get really interesting in "The Reckoning". Not that the beginning was boring but lets just say I couldn't put the book down when I got to the middle. I wont do a summary on this book yet because I don't want to do a rushed job and I've been really busy this week. So I will post a short summary (that doesn't spoil the story) somewhere next week. But in conclusion to the review I will just say she ended it really nicley so you wouldn't need to expect a forth book!

Bliss

Bliss was a great book, although it had to do more with racism and how two people of different color couldn't be together rather than black magic I think that's what I loved about the book. I think Lauren Myracle made black magic apart of the book so that more teens would read it. At moments in the book there's a bit of awkwardness between two characters but it was cleared up later on. I honestly think this book would've been less awkward without black magic but who am I to judge the author must have her reasons. All the parts just sort of flowed in together so the author must have put in a lot of effort to make that happen. The ending of this book was a huge shock but you realize this actually would've happened in that time era and even in today's world. This book shows that some people are misunderstood while others are judgmental and jump to conclusions about someone just by their color. And it goes to show not all stories have a happy ending. Overall I think I would've done without the magic part in this book  but it had a good storyline I just wished it was portrayed just a little bit different. So I would give this book three stars.

If you want to learn about the characters this gives you an idea at what your first impression would be like, I can't necessarily tell you what the characters are really are like or I would be giving away most of the book:
Bliss: A sweet and kindhearted person but is judged because her parents are hippies.
Sandy: A good person who would stand up for anyone
Sarah: A headstrong person who gets whatever she wants
Lawrence: Soft spoken and according to the book "everyone adores him" but you start to think twice when the book is done (about the everyone adores him part)
Mitchelle: He has a sense of humor but is protective of his friends
Thelma, Jolene, Deedee: All of them are a posy but only Jolene is the one who isn't racist or mean.
Grandmother: Still a bit off about people with color but not drastically like Sarahs dad who would kill.

Night World 1

I fell in love with this book after reading the first story. What i mean by first story is thata each book is made up of three different storys about the night world. The night world is a secret society of vampires witches shapeshifters and werewolves. The two most important rules of the night world is 1 never let human leanr that the night world exist and 2 never fall in love with a huma n the storys in the books are about what happens when these rules are broken.

Each story is different. Different characters, different settings, Different senerios but either way the books are awesome. These books are wrtten by L.J.Smith author of the "Vampire Diaires".

Perfect

Perfect is a beautiful book by Natasha Friend. If you like reading books about troubled teens, this would be a good book for you. It's about a girl who is anorexic and how she copes with it in "group" (which is a group for anorexic teens.) The main character has gone through a lot in the past; so for her to deal with that pain she became anorexic and also because she didn't like the way she looked.

Natasha's other books: Lush
                                    Bounce
                          2010: For Keeps

Vampire Diaries

Ahh!! Who should play Dimitri??

I personally think that Steven strait from "Sky high" Should be. Because as his character Warren Peace, he has long hair and stuff it fit well. Well minus the accent :) But that's ok we can imagine can't we?

Blood Promise

Ok that was an amazing book. Just when you thought Richelle Mead couldn't get get any better at writing sinse she's already to good at it; guess what? SHE DID!!!! I can't believe what just happened at the end of this book! Talk about a huge twist and a major cliff hanger. It's a good thing her next book Spirit bound comes out in May :D Now I have no Idea what to read sinse the Reckoning doesn't come out until April 6th. *Sigh*
Anyways, can't wait to see what happens next in the V.A.!
Looking back at the first post I agree completely fantasy books are good , people should'nt judge and so what I like to read books about vampires its not all I read or all others read. Unless you can read my mind you have no idea what I enjoy reading books like "twilight" , "the vampire diaries", and "night world" are good books I think others would enjoy them if you gave them a chance. Plus not all books about vampires witchs and stuff are demonic and full of voodoo just because people read them does not mean they are unholy or demonic, they are just books nobody is just gonna read twilight and go and bite someone.I know im going off topic but I feel that had to be said.

Vanpire diaries 1.

When I started to read this book I was very excited because I was a huge fan of the show i i loved the book but beware of Stefan's constant flashback and the fact that Elena is totally obsessed.

Vampire Academy

This is my first entry on a book. The Vampire Academy is unlike any vampire book you will ever read. I don't know how to explain it but there's never one part in the book where you'll be bored. Mainly because the book doesn't have a corny vampire story line. Richelle Mead made it so that it's not just about all blood. It's so hard to discribe how great this book is because I wouldn't want to spoil anything and I also wouldn't know where to start. But overall a great series so far (I'm currently on the third book).

Fantasy Is Great

We just hate it when people judge us when it comes to Fantasy books. Just because "Twilight" was a huge hit doesn't mean all Fantasy books are like that. Not that twilight was a bad book at first, but it was one of those books that you grew tired of after a while.
Anyways haven't you noticed people making fun of Fantasy books are the people that don't read? It's OK if you don't like Fantasy books, but if you haven't read that genre should you be talking? In conclusion for all the people who judge...don't knock it till you try it.
